We can give your twenty greats reasons to register for our annual March for the Animals 1.5 miles walk-a-thon and festival, but for today, how about five? 1) Its a fun way to come out with your family, friends, co-workers and pets while supporting the pets at the MD SPCA. 2) The MD SPCA receives no operating funding from the government or the ASPCA. 3) We never have a time limit to how long pets can stay at the MD SPCA. On average, it costs between $400-$500 to care for a pet until we can find him a good, loving home. It takes community support to save thousands of homeless pets each year. 4) You can meet Darwin the giant tortoise. :) 5) Youll leave the event with a big smile on your face and an awesome feeling in your heart knowing that you made a difference!
