We cannot expect our leaders to feel a sentiment we don’t. If - TopicsExpress

We cannot expect our leaders to feel a sentiment we don’t. If someone talks smack about you, feel good, you probably won’t. All of the posts that attempt to persuade to follow assumptions, and insults, quick-made, do not accomplish anything, but making people doubt, as if anyone is bettered, when just their faults are pointed out. When intent is ignored, or corrupted a bit, to create misconceptions, and in the eyes sit, to pollute the perception, with all the things said, that disrespect the President, with inaccurate projections, instead, When I hear people saying “He’s selling us out!” or that he somehow wants us to sink, I do not get that impression, and think it a harmful thing to think. I once believed another, to call a President the worst of names, but that was long ago, so I can recognize such games. It is my job to serve whomever’s in office, with the best that a poet can give, reporting the view from the ranks, and what it’s like for the unknown to live. Even a President only has two eyes, and cannot know what they have not seen, so instead of being judgmental, our vision should be more keen. Any one can point out how it shouldn’t be, but we need vision to lead, and not whine. Putting down others for mistakes they make, just eats up valuable time. We all have imperfections, and we all have partial view, and we have to understand that even world leaders are human, too. The way we speak to another, influences how they feel. If someone said of you, what you say of them, what reactions would be real? Violence can sometimes be subtle, and even unintended. Do we wish to exclude, and put down, or enlighten, so the vision is mended? W. Joseph Stegner, Jr. September 26, 2014 11:29pm Written entirely between Civic Center, and San Leandro Stations.
