We celebrate birthday number 58 (tomorrow) for baseball Hall of Famer Paul The Ignitor Molitor. Molly played 21 seasons in the big leagues. 1st drafted by the Cardinals in the 28th round in 1974. Does not sign and plays college baseball for the Minnesota Gophers. He would be drafted after his junior year and 3rd overall by (my home team) the Brewers in 1977. He is rewarded the silver slugger 4 times. He lead the American League in hits 3 times 1991 (216), 1993 (211) and 1996 (225). He finishes with 3319 hits and a career batting average of .306. He earns a ring with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1993. Currently on the coaching staff of the Minnesota Twins.
