We come back in front of this Security Council after it has failed once again to condemn and end this aggression against our people notably in the Gaza Strip...You (Palestinian people) are right to be angry at this Security Council, which did not stop the aggression, and to be angry that the world sees your suffering and you losing your children and your family members without stopping the aggression, but the peoples of the world look up to you as you resist and sacrifice for your freedom and to end this aggression and we know you will prevail These are the words pronounced by the Ambassador of Palestine in New York after the Security Council once again condemned the rockets and refused to condemn the Israeli aggression against our people which has killed over 300 Palestinians, including over 60 children. These tears are not only triggerred by the magnitude of the tragedy our people are enduring, but by revolt, a revolt we all feel today more than ever, against the international communitys reaction, which can only be characterised as complaisant at best, complicit at worst.
