We continue to track a line of showers and thunderstorms moving in from the upstate of SC into parts of ENC tonight. It does apear the severe weather threat will continue to stay on the low side tonight. As our thinking that these storms would move through overnight with very limited instability and no daytime heating. However, just because the threat remains low, dont let you guard down. Some of these cells coming in have winds of 40-55mph which can surely do some damage. A tornado watch is not likely at this time, however due to the nature of the system it is possible for a quick spin on very isolated situation, and dont really expect to see tornadoes overnight. The threat for ALL of ENC will be from about 10pm through 4am Monday---Jonathan.
