We continue to use the wonderful technology of Skype to stay in touch with friends who have returned to China... and with those headed off for additional schooling or jobs in Texas, Ohio, Japan, and elsewhere. The most fun Skype session for us is with [a particular friend who]... continues to genuinely hunger for what the Bible has to say and has included his 11 year-old son in the study. Each time we read Gods Word, [they] are eager to read, understand, question, and take it all in. Prayer is a recurring subject, one that I enjoy talking with them about. Please pray that this hunger will spill over into the sons heart so he comes to a saving knowledge, just like his father did while he was here. - COM staffer reflecting on the ways technology enables ministry to continue beyond the goodbyes.
