We did another interview with: https://facebook/BandFocus101 INTERVIEW with RVNT https://facebook/RvntBand 1) How did your band get started? 1) We formed basically right as we began the writing process and recording for the EP Vulnerable! So thats been about a little more then a year or so. 2) Who are the band members in your band? 2) Ryan Potter-Guitarist, Jose Rodriguez-Quiles-Drums, Ricky Gillis- Vocals, Matt Madariaga-Bass, and Cole Sweeney-Guitarist 3) Who are your major influences? 3)As a band we all have many different influences, we pull interest in literally all types of genres of music so its really hard to say! On a metalcore/hardcore standpoint though we like bands like Like Moths To Flames, Vanna, The Ghost Inside, and Hundredth. 4) Is it easy being in a band? 4)It definitely has its highs and lows, we really enjoy playing shows and writing music for fans and engaging with them at shows, however it gets stressful when your are a band who has to front all the finances to for merch, or recording and such. A lot really goes into it honestly, we as a band literally are in touch with each other everyday about practices, or taking care of the business side of stuff, as well as the brainstorming of new ideas. 5) What is your advice to kids being bullied in school? 5)On behalf of the band, that is something we dont condone or would it ever become acceptable in this band! We feel like everyone is unique and different and thats the beauty of meeting and engaging with new faces. We have always stood by standing up for your values and beliefs! Never let anyone dictate the things you would like to say or do based off of fear. Someone can always even stand with you! 6) What would you guys do if it started raining ketchup? 6)Raining Ketchup?, yikes that would call for a very messing ending!! haha That would probably be worse then actual rain!!! 7) Where would you like to tour someday? 7)I think the overall goal is at least the entire United States!!! Go big or Go home!! The band has always had a goal to get on the Vans Warped Tour in its entirety as well too see fingers crossed! 8) What would you like to say to people who have not checked out your band? 8)If you have never been able to express yourself and feel like someone is behind you, this band is for you!!! No one is alone we all have struggles in life and we guarantee the emotion this band puts forth is worth your while.
