We do love hearing about our #graduatesuccess stories. This time, it’s a great interview with BA(Hons) Actor Musicianship graduate, Joey Hickman. Joey, who originally went straight from graduating from Rose Bruford, to ‘Dreamboats and Petticoats’ on the West End, is interviewed here by London Calling, and talks about “A day in the life of an Actor-Musician”, and some of the requirements for todays actor musicians, as they become more and more in demand; “…With the current climate, producers are hiring actor-musicians because its cheaper: you’re employing people to do two or three things when previously you’d employ two or three people to dance, sing, act, and play an instrument. There are more actor-musician productions being produced, even in the West End.” .
