We dont drink, we dont smoke, we eat all the right foods and we exercise. Then we live to be 93 like my Mother and get stubborn, wont listen to their children and rather cry and suffer then to go to a doctor. My Mother is in terrific pain with her lower back. I took her in and they cannot see a fracture in her lower back with just a plain x-ray. She needs a MRI and some physical therapy but she refuses. The law says I cannot put her in assisted living like her doctor says she needs. She lives alone and is depressed because she does not get to talk to other human beings. She only goes out to get her mail and take down the garbage. She is crying because of the pain but she wont let me take her back to the doctor. Help! Has anyone else had this problem with their parents? It is so sad to see your parent deteriorate and they will not let you help them.
