We finally have news about Food for Thought on KLCC: We are transitioning to a new format! Rather than the static weekly Sunday show, we are becoming more of a content provider. If you are familiar with NPR programming, think Planet Money or Earth Fix. You will hear our segments integrated with other NPR shows, such as The Takeaway, Morning Edition, etc. Anni Katz, Jennifer Burns and I (Boris) will stay on to produce the pieces and Don Hein will remain our executive producer. Word is that even Ryan Stotz, who is moving to Atlanta today (bon voyage) may be involved in giving us some East Coast perspective. Another exciting prospect is that we will no longer be limited to the KLCC network of stations, but OPB, NPR stations across the Northwest and the entire country will be able to air our segments. We hope you are as excited about this change as we are. Give us a little time to get all our ducks in a row and we will be on the air again, soon. Meanwhile, as we are also looking to expand our online presence, our facebook page will be info hub for FFT and we encourage you to use it to keep the discussion about Food, Drink, Agriculture, etc. alive.
