We finished first in the Democratic Primary for Congress in CD5 with 42%+ of the vote. We will face the person who finished second with 31% of the vote in a Runoff Primary on Tuesday August 26. We finished first in Oklahoma County, Pottawatomie County, and in Seminole County. We won the absentee vote, the in-person early voting, and were the strongest in the votes cast on election day. We are excited that we ran a very strong race against a sitting state senator and a strong female candidate from Seminole County. We appreciate the strong support you gave us. Lets gird up to knock doors, make phone calls, put up signs, and raise money for the next 2 months. This is a great result, especially in light of the fact that we were outspent in the primary. Lets move on to secure the nomination in August and win the general election on November 4!
