We found Christmas while serving hundreds and hundreds of meals tonight both at St. Michaels Youth Center and delivered to their home. In addition to the hundreds and hundreds served at St. Michaels over 300 meals were delivered by people so eager to deliver them. About another 150 meals were packaged to go. It was amazing. To see the variety of people; young and old, singles and families, some dressed in suits, some dressed in whatever they had. Many in wheelchairs and most not. All so happy to receive a good meal. One lady so excited to receive a gift. Some wanted to give hugs. Whether you were there to serve or be served....there was just pure joy! And, the moment I knew that we were where we were supposed to be? When I overheard Peter ask if we could do it again next year! Merry Christmas!
