We found a little getaway over the weekend less than 2 hrs from Airdrie called KB Trails - only $75 a night. Peace, Tranquility and Beauty! They have 3 cabins they rent out (each cabin is approx 1 mile apart so you absolute privacy). 1 with power and 2 without (these have solar lighting, candles, lanterns etc). We had a wood stove too - all wood supplied, BBQ, camp stove, propane, dishes etc. 3 moose walked by Sunday morning, an elk a bit later in the day. What a place! We stayed in the Paradis (spelled this way after their friend) cabin and we are definitely going back. A great place to go your self if you want to unwind and rejuvenate with a good book. It was also 18C on the weekend which totally made the weekend too!
