We found this dog in an older shelter stuffed to the brim with dogs and cats. She was in immediate danger of being euthanized. I hardly could believe that this gorgeous dog was in this position. Not only this girl but two other black shepherds as well. Of course we took them all and they were all quickly adopted. A quick note from one of the adopters... Hi Kate! I just wanted to update you on how Daisy (renamed Vesper) is doing. I cant tell you how deeply weve fallen in love with her, shes an absolute delight. Shes doing very well with the cats, shes friendly with them but keeps a respectable distance. Vesper also is phenomenal with other dogs; she plays well with other dogs that are active and has made many friends both human and canine at the dog park and along our walks. Shes mastered sit, lay and stay, does really well on leash and will start her first obedience class in a few weeks. Shes very gentle with everyone and just absolutely loves being spending time with people, whether were going for a car ride, hiking a trail or just lounging around at home.
