We get a LOT of phone calls and emails from animal lovers looking to save cats from animal control every day as well as emails from other animal controls and facilities all over the state pleading for our help. While we would love to be able to help every desperate person on the end of the phone or every plea we get over email, we are a small shelter with limited space. This time of year, it is cage for cage. One adoption means we can take in one more cat or one more litter of kittens. As it is, this week alone we have taken in a mom and 5 kittens, two transfers from CACC, 8 owner surrender cats, 2 strays, 3 birds, 4 rabbits and a guinea pig. And its only Friday morning. Furthermore, we also got a senior cat dumped at the front door. Please understand when we have to say no. Please understand that the only way we can offer help is if you help us in return. Foster one of the vetted cats we have here at the shelter, offer to foster a pregnant cat or kittens, send people here to adopt. Help us help you.
