We got a fair amount of rain durin the night, but when we got up this mornin it was snowin. It didnt last very long an it didnt stick to the ground down in the valley but it held to the ridges for a spell. After givin Pistol her bucket of milk this mornin we walked her out to the cows an other calves in the northeast field. Pistol seems to enjoy hangin out with the other calves. When we get out to the pasture shell run over to em bawling with excitement. When she settles in with the herd we leave, filled with happiness that she is learnin to be a cow. Then come evenin feedin time we walk out into the pasture a short distance an call out to her. She calls back an comes on the run.....bawlin all the way.
