We got our new cat today...after a brainstorm and the kids official vote, we have named her Akila (Ah-KEE-La). It means intelligent or wise...it would seem she has had a long day so far...she hung out with the kids, gave herself a bath, gave my hand a bath, killed a little baby lizard in my diningroom (aparently) lol, and took a lot of naps...she also seems to be a tad stubborn too, she refuses to sleep in the new bed I got her...she decided she would sleep next to and it cracked me up because she looked back at me like.."here, see? I will sleep next to it, happy now???" LOL...Thank you sooo much Anna Garner and Jason Garner, we are totally digging our new little kitten :)
