We had a chance to see an early screening of the movie When the Game Stands Tall. I would highly recommend this movie for the whole family. I should preface this by saying I LOVE sports movies. Sports movies usually have 2 elements in common (other than sports) and those are 1) a huge obstacle or challenge to overcome and 2) the characters having to find the strength in themselves and as a team to move past their challenge. I loved that this movie is a Christian movie and they uses scripture to highlight for the young men the character traits they should be aiming for as a team. If you get a chance to go to a movie this weekend think about going to see When the Game Stands Tall. You wont be sorry.
