We had a collective dream that time didn’t exist, yet time - TopicsExpress

We had a collective dream that time didn’t exist, yet time frames held revealing clues. Every hint was preceded by a shadow of a giant who manifested itself in musical forms. The forms took shape and delivered images of Sumlin and Zimmerman shooting pool with Basque sheepherders in the lounge of the Lazy J. The roof opened to the sky with clouds in the shape of nymphs following Garcia in a rickshaw being peddled by a team of dreamers assisted by one Wally Sidewalk. A little farm along a gravel road where a boy wanders the alfalfa fields with his furry companion. From the radio inside, a young man sang the blues like his life depended on it. High school auditoriums and gymnasiums carried rocking harmonies and wailing Gretch White Falcons. Manuel’s resonance opened my soul. Still dreaming, still in awe of the mother lode, we continue.
