We had a really good night, last night. We decided to try a couple things to make the car a little faster on tacky, and it went pretty well! Started 4th in the heat race, and finished 2nd! Then went out for the feature and started 4th, and brought home a 2nd place finish! I felt like I had something for the leader, though. When I went up towards the top of the track I started making gains on the leader, but suddenly they threw the white flag and I ended up not getting to the leader in time to make a pass on the last lap. Honestly I felt like I had a few more laps to pull off the pass, but unfortunately that was not the case. I wish I couldve had about three more laps! And when we went back and watched the feature race video, we counted 12 laps lol! Really wish we couldve ran the entire 15 lap race. Dont know why we were cut short on laps, but theres nothing we couldve done about it. But, still very happy with the night. We got a solid 2nd place finish, a clean race car, and even made a little money this weekend. So, we are very satisfied with how last night turned out.
