We had a warm and humid day across the area! The high today, in Zanesville, reached 86 degrees! There were several reports of hail and gusty winds today, but none that reached severe limits! Showers and thunderstorms have become more widely scattered tonight and the chance will remain in the forecast for the rest of the night. It will remain warm and muggy. Patchy fog is likely, especially if we can get some clearing in the clouds. Lows will be in the mid 60s. A cold front will slowly move through the area on Wednesday, which will help to enhance the showers and thunderstorms. The best chance for sun will be during the morning and we should be mainly dry during this time. Clouds will increase earlier in the afternoon then they did on Tuesday and showers and thunderstorms will be developing during the afternoon into the evening. The rain chances will increase from north to south during this time. These storms will again produce locally heavy rain, which may cause some flooding issues. Additionally, it is again possible that a couple of these storms are stronger containing some strong winds and large hail. However dont expect a widespread severe weather outbreak. The best chance for this will be south of I-70. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. Go to whiznews/content/weather for a complete discussion and webcast! -Matt Albanese
