We had a wonderful meeting at the Fire Training Grounds tonight to put the wraps on some changes and final details. There will be a few minor tweaks to our typical set up since we are one of two groups using the Grounds that weekend. As before, we will still access the Grounds off 5th St (M76) via Bellenger St, however the AYGE traffic will be using the furthest north gate. The Red Barn, Tan Bathroom building and surrounding area will be in use by a local family celebrating a graduation. We have the red and white bathroom building in the center of the grounds for our use, but we have decided to bring in some porta-jons as well. Another exciting development is the installation of power to an area on the East side of the Grounds (towards the mud bog area in the back). This area is roughly a hundred yards away from the main group area. So this addition will offer powered sites with a quieter location. As for electric service, we have a fair amount of 30 amp sites, several 50 amp sites and plenty of 15 amps sites, but as always, they are assigned on a first come first serve basis. We will have Welcome Wagon volunteers at the gate to help direct you to the camping site that best suits your needs.
