We had an amazing night at INDIGO VOID on Friday. We met so many great people and The Fez is a fantastic club. Unfortunately, recent modifications to the DJ booth meant our previously decided upon staging area for the live show was no longer there, so we spent most of the day trying to find an area to erect a stage/space that we could perform in. We eventually solved that puzzle, setting up high, behind the booth. It looked pretty cool and the soundcheck sounded great but when we went to play live later that night, we had an uncontrollable attack of feedback that blighted the majority of the set. Something to do with a PA/volume setting that was changed before we played. It caused huge problems with the guitars and vocals. We did our best to battle through it and it just about came together for the last couple of tracks - but we were disappointed that we couldnt put on the show we had been rehearsing for. Well just have to chalk this one up to experience. Anyway, the rest of the night was amazing. Excellent music. Excellent people. Fantastic atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a great night. Onwards! - F.
