We had an awesome service yesterday it was Youth Sunday @ 2nd Chance Ministries Deliverance Center We had a young lady with us yesterday that is recovering from substance abuse. I must say shes doing very well considering where she was a couple of months ago, when we found her homeless on the street nowhere to go. We were able to get her in a facility and get her detox and in a recovery program. I have been mentoring her, She gets to come and be with me every other weekend. She & I were on our way back to take her to the facility and of course she likes to stop by the store and get snacks to take back with her. We were in the store, she had her snacks. We were standing in line to check out. There was a gentleman in line behind us and as I reached into my purse to pay for her snacks he said no let me pay for this. I looked at him and I ask are you sure? he said yes I got this have a bless day. The lady in the store looked at me very surprised and she said God is Good! I said yes he is all the time. In our affirmation at church we confess UNEXPECTED FAVOR and we receive that yesterday. Thank you to the gentleman that sowed into this young ladys life. It really touched her heart and let her know that someone else cares. It had to be the Spirit of the Lord that touch your heart to do that and for that I am very grateful! I truly believe that what you make happen for others God will make happen for you! Just felt lead to share that......
