We had an awesome turnout for Yonas Purple Paws Parade and raised - TopicsExpress

We had an awesome turnout for Yonas Purple Paws Parade and raised around $650 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. About 30 dogs and twice as many people joined the parade up and down the isles at Lowes because the weather forced us to move it from downtown. We had dogs of all sizes, the smallest being a Maltese puppy whose head is smaller than Yonas paw to 6, yes 6 Great Pyrenees. Of course, my rotten Pyr, Mokwa, had to hang out outside because he was being a bit unruly, but he was there. And, once again, PAWS UP TO LOWES!!! They were great!! The employees and customers alike stopped to watch as the parade went on. It was just wonderful. And, it was great to have Teresa Webb, a rare pancreatic cancer survivor, and her family with us!! Thank you to all who walked, helped, and gave items for door prizes: Darlene McCleish, Robin F Wolff, Melissa Schwab Shumard, Tom Shumard, Teresa Webb, Sam Lynne Beaver-Pryor, Sandra Tester, John D Brown, John Price, Doris Henderson, Beverly Hume Selmeski, Kelly Pickering, and the self-appointed pooper scooper, Dennis Loy. If I have left anyone out, forgive me, but my brain is tired. But, my heart is full!! 💜
