We had one great day! We slept till noon (not literally but when the kids are asleep past 8am its a celebration!!!!), went to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, enjoyed a few trails and walked down Playalinda after the storms. Not another soul the entire time. It was a private beach to say the least! Then after spotting a few crabs I got the wise idea "Hey, lets wait till dark and go crab hunting!". Only problem is that we cant stay at Playalinda after dark so... Off to Cocoa Beach Pier with our flashlights (not turtle nesting/hatching season!) and chased little sand crabs around the beach. Oh it was a blast! I had the best time ever!!! Just watching our children run around giggiling with such pure joy chasing around the little crabs, but not touching, having the best time ever made my heart melt into a sappy goo. Best man in the world to drive the whole time and went out of his way to ensure I did as little as possible to give me a break.
