We had our first North chapter meeting for coloherps a couple of Sundays ago! We felt it went quite awesome, in spite of a schedule oversight on the Libraries part. The meeting ended up being taken outside, but since it was such a beautiful day, it worked to our advantage! The turn out was 10-12, didnt get a good count because the public was constantly involved, getting a little roadside education so to speak. Everyone was excited to see this coming to our area, some good ideas rolled around, great feedback from everyone. Our next meeting is Sunday April 6th (yes, we know its repticon weekend!) Nonetheless, well be doing 4-5pm again, at the library. This time we schedueld the room from 3:30-5 to give us a little extra time getting in and set up, and less likely to run into the previous group taking our scheduled time to get their stuff out of the room! We spoke with Dr.Matthew johnson, one of the vets at the CSU exotics animal hospital, he was excited to hear what were doing and volunteered to to some educational speaks for us! He also okd us to schedule some behind the scenes tours of their exotics dept. Well see everyone at the repticon on saturday!
