Aria was 3 years old when she was picked up as a stray and taken home by a cop. Knowing full well that animals and people dont act a certain way for no reason, the dog was agitated in some form and bit the cop she was staying with. He brought the dog in with the note of being bit and tranquilized the dog. After multiple walks with the shelter workers, this dog really came out of its shell, still timid and not eating (scared). She was killed on 3/9 after not being able to find a home. Have you ever had a fit and said or done something you wish you hadnt? What if that was written down on a file, and it followed you everywhere, with every job, with everything you wanted? Does bad behavior follow you everywhere? For these dogs, it does. Some bring in dogs for scratching the owners when the dog jumps up and greets them at the front door. There are so many loving dogs than can be viewed as mean when they have only been abused and need extra love and attention. In Arias memory, I hope all of you will remember everyone acts the way they do for a reason. People and dogs alike.
