We had some nice sunshine and warm temps this morning while I was adopting a dog and visiting with volunteers so we could be inside and outside today on the deck. Than I started seeing some dark clouds and smelled rain so I just hurried up to finish mowing the lawns to put the mower away. I also grabbed everything left outside like lawn chairs and other donations just as hard rains hit. We had a downpour for three minutes then it stopped. I see some sunshine peeking through. I better go check the weather channel on when I am feeding horses this evening. I really think if it is going to rain it should rain enough to soak the lawns and fields, but looking at weather forecasts for the week looks like a wet week is coming. My guess is we shall have a lot of indoor, extra whiny, playing wieners this week. I can also see lots of wood stove fires when cold mornings hit soon. We had a gorgeous Indian summer and right into fall in one day with how cold it is and going to not get over 59 to 60 degrees soon. Brrrrr. My life is ruled by the weather so I better start finding my winter snow boots and rain gear once again.
