We had to say goodbye to our pup Twist of 12 years today. She went everywhere with us, all of the hikes from Okinawa, Hawaii, Utah and Nevada. She loved to be outside, and she loved my kids like they were her own. We loved her very much and she added so much to our lives. I will never forget that day at Kadena when Shannon Clark Cancro and I saved her from the side of the road, going in and out of cars. She will be missed. Very sad day for all of us in the Junker household. Lots of tears and little kiddos broken hearts.
