We have Christmas puppies! TWELVE of them to be exact! This came about when Jen received a plea from a law enforcement officer in Pine Bluff Arkansas. If you are not familiar with Pine Bluff, its known for dogfighting and back yard breeding of Pit Bulls. The Officer told Jen that when he found the mama she had been shot in the foot. He took her to the Vet and has been fostering her. She got to go see Santa, so its real obvious he cares about her. Today was the day weve been waiting for....to see how many puppies we would be taking. Jen guessed 11. Mama gave her one extra for Christmas. The pic is of the first seven puppies. We will have more pics soon. The officer, whose partner is a K-9 German Shepherds, is going to keep them until they are weaned. (There should be more police officers like him) At that time they will come into our program. They will need vetting and fosters. That gives us six weeks to raise funds and find fosters. We cant let these puppies end up in the wrong hands. PLEASE HELP US! If you ask around it is almost impossible to find a rescue that can take 13 dogs. Its due to a lack of money and fosters. We dont have either one, but Jennifer couldnt say no. This is where you guys come in. We are always seeing comments from people saying they love TLAP and appreciate everything we do! We need you guys! This is something we cant do without you. We are taking donations in any amount. I know its a bad time of year, but rescue is 24/7/365.
