We have a dream! A dream to reunite these two in a loving forever home. Nicky and Peaches lived happily together for 15 years then were tossed to the feedlot for slaughter because the family was done with them. Both of these horses are sweet, calm and patient. We were lucky that the compassion and support from our community brought these two to REIN. Currently they are being rehabbed in separate foster homes but are receiving lots of love. We say a little wish each day that we will have them together again with a family to love them. Nicky has had several special girls to visit him for grooming and he has been perfect! One of the girls used a step stool to brush his back and he side stepped over to her thinking she was going to jump on his back! These two are not finished with QT/Rehab but if there is a home out there “thinking” about the idea of keeping them together we would love to hear from you!
