We have a guest in the shop today :) Chance has an injured thumb nail. Jeff said she was all excited when he let her out this morning, like she got on a scent. I let her back in an hour later, and she was favoring her leg, so I got looking at it and the nail was torn and sticking out sideways (Ill spare you the gory pictures). It wasnt bleeding. She was super clingy with me and was under my feet all morning, which is strange for her as shes super independent and elusive as a general rule. I went to the grocery store and she had been chewing and licking it and made it even more raw, so I bandaged it (poorly done with lame supplies! This will be rectified in a little bit when Jeff brings some proper bandage tape!) and brought her to the shop with me, so I dont have to worry about her chewing her foot off :) Shes such a happy and good natured girl. Shes about 11 years old now.
