We have a little catching up to do. Pre-season play day hosted by Coffee County Central HS February 22nd. We played four, thirty minute games. Results: Cumberland Co. 0 FHS 0; Warren County 1 FHS 0; FHS 1 Ensworth 1; FHS 0 Stone Memorial 2. All in all, good effort by the team against AAA schools. Started looking tired in the last game against a fresh Stone Mem. squad. They were big and fast, were small and fast. Still working different player combinations, still moving kids around out of their comfort zones. Had two players injured that couldnt go for the last game. :-( Getting better weekly though! Well start preparing for our last pre-season scrimmage against Columbia Academy on March 6th at their place. Working on endurance and fitness.
