We have a position for a Transport Planner based in Chippenham. Please find details of the job below. Job Purpose The Transport Planner is part of the operational team which has responsibility for all areas of planning vehicle deliveries between our client’s manufacturing centres, vendors and clients premises. This will and can include road freight, air and ocean movements and control of appropriate administration of documentation in all matters to support this function. Duties The successful applicant will be responsible for allocation of vehicles to meet the clients planned delivery in line with target delivery times and product availability. You will also be responsible for collating KPI data for all in and outbound movement and report failures as and when they occur through the process as detailed in the site specific operations manual. Education and Experience Experience within a busy transport office will be advantageous, experience of working in export will be essential. Experience in all Microsoft packages will also be essential. This is a temporary role with the potential to be ongoing for the right applicant. Possible shifts (with shift allowance).
