We have a requirement for a dog handler on a large, active site in Wiltshire near to Swindon. Genuine Self-employed handlers, or can be employed on PAYE. Will be joining an intense shift roster which gives roughly 19 to 20 shifts per month, based on blocks of 5 days and nights rotating. Must be able to provide information for vetting, including employment history for the last 5 years. Self-employed handlers must be insured and able to provide paperwork. Level 2 handlers (or working towards) preferred, and you must be prepared to undergo an assessment with our trainer. Dogs must be suitably trained, safe and controllable. You will need to wear our branded uniform and have a suitable marked but unbranded vehicle. There are limited facilities on this site. There are no mains utilities, electrical power is provided as required by a generator to run electric heaters, lighting, kettle and microwave. There are no mains running water so you will need to bring your own. Invoice to be submitted monthly and are paid in 30 days Must be smart, professional and able to speak fluent English. Rate starts at £10.00 for Self-employed, increased to £11 once paperwork is in order and uniform is paid off.
