We have all had our character challenged or questioned. This is inevitable. We are all tested many times during our lives. I must say that for many years of my life I came from a place of immediate reaction. But as I have grown older I think I am becoming a whole lot wiser. And I find it easier and easier to maintain my poise and dignity and integrity. By accessing the situation with deactivated buttons and triggers. And looking at it as an outside observer. And choosing then to respond or to not respond. I am talking about coming from a place of automatic composure and calmness. Which I believe is the most healthy state of being for me. Mentally and physically. When our actions are TRUE and MOTIVATED from a really heartfelt and honest place? There is no need to defend. Even when what has been spoken to me or about me holds NO TRUTH. I do not OWE anyone ANY EXPLANATIONS. Because I have already VETTED every action I have decided to take. THOROUGHLY. I am a thinker and a person that gets a job done with every ounce of brainpower I have. In a DIGNIFIED and EXTREMELY honest way. I BELIEVE in being HONEST. Because NOT being honest has way too many negative consequences. I am more than good with how I conduct myself in relationships and in the business world. Because I have LEARNED my lessons in the past. I am in the SHORT ROWS of my life. This may seem random. But I assure you it is NOT. I hold myself and Tommy Bluestreetcar to a MUCH higher standard. What you see is what you get. Not saying I am perfect. But I do give everything and everyone my truth. Integrity equals wholeness. I have mine and I plan to keep it. Because God is watching. Nuff said. For now.
