We have an exciting opportunity to work with a national company as a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer. The successful candidate must have experience with domestic systems; ideally 3-4 years with less considered if the candidate demonstrates valuable experience and a drive to learn. The minimum qualifications required for this position are CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1 and CKR1 with any qualifications or experience relating to commercial boilers and LPG would also be advantageous. A basic toolkit with cordless drill would be expected to be provided by the candidate but all additional specialist equipment is provided by the company, as is insurance and a fuel card. You will work 42 hours per week between 8am and 8pm Monday – Friday across 4 days with some Saturdays on a rota basis. A competitive basic salary of between £23-£28,000 is easily achievable with additional earnings available from overtime and out of hours work. There is also on call work on a rota basis for additional pay. Other benefits of this position include use of a company vehicle and all additional training provided by the company.
