We have become a nation of people who cannot commit themselves to anything. Just as prophesied, people are running to and fro and they change their minds with the wind. There are many double minded people wandering around without an anchor or a purpose. I wonder if anyone stops to consider what lies beyond this physical life? Surely, some must wonder? If this life is all that there is, then the majority of mankind has failed to accomplish anything. There are many people who are eking out a meager existence and struggling from one day to the next, just to survive. Is that all we are here for? Just to survive and barely at that? Is that all we were intended to be? Being set-apart and living set-apart are NOT easy. What would cause our Messiah to say when He returns, He wonders if He will really find faith on the earth? Are His People crying out to Him night and day? Are the sighing and crying over the condition of this world? Are they setting their sights on His Kingdom and eagerly awaiting the return of Yeshua? Are they crying out for His return? Or…are they distracted and caught up in this world and ALL of its ways? Are they indulging themselves and seeking after their own wants and desires? Are they living with no care of tomorrow and what the future will bring, but only for the moment? Are they clinging tightly to this physical life and investing ALL of their time and effort into it? Lukewarm lovers of self and material things. We only have to look around us to see the answers… Where are the faithful, those who will stand and those who are preparing? Those are His TRUE People…those who are NOT His in name only. 2 Chronicles 24:19-21 19 And He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to יהוה. And they witnessed against them, but they did not listen. 20 Then the Spirit of Elohim came upon Zeḵaryah son of Yehoyaḏa the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus said Elohim, ‘Why are you transgressing the commands of יהוה, and do not prosper? Because you have forsaken יהוה, He has forsaken you.’ ” 21 And they conspired against him, and at the command of the sovereign they stoned him with stones in the courtyard of the House of יהוה. Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
