We have been evaluating the process by which we try to make political changes in this country and it has been found wanting. The general way by which the unfulfilled try to change the way we are governed is primarily through changing our second branch of government, our legislators. This is long, tedious and, ultimately, an unreliable process of listening to candidates, backing them, sending them money, and crossing our fingers that they will do what they say when they get into office and it has come to no affect. We have since come to believe that we should switch gears to retain our freedoms through the judicial branch. With the fraction of the money it takes to send one politician to congress, we can stop unlawful laws by simply filing suit against all unconstitutional laws passed in our towns and in he nation. Injunctions and stays and challenges to jurisdiction could stop all these abuses in their tracks. The ACLJ has done this successfully with the 1st amendment by slaughtering poorly written laws and rights abuses with series a of supreme court wins. Now, a just a letter from Jay, to anyone violating constitutional rights thinks twice before they continue down a constitutional path and many switch gears, just from his introduction and advice to change. We can do this too. I am currently seeking out constitutional lawyer and expert Larry Becraft who has an impressive case history regarding these matters. We could start chapters in every city with volunteer citizens trained on poorly written laws by sending them through a constitution 101 class that is being offered for FREE on line at Hillsdale College. Google it: Constitution 101: Hillsdale College. It is an amazing course and you will be given a certificate in constitutional law when you complete it. Everyone should do this so the citizenry can take back their cities one by one.
