We have been in contact with the NIH (National Institutes of Health) to try and get Layla in the program for rare and undiagnosed diseases. Once we get the papers back to them it takes 8-12 weeks for their team of Doctors to decide if Layla is a good candidate for the program. When( positive thinking) she gets in it takes a couple months to actually get an appointment with them. They then will fly us to Maryland to do testing and hopefully get results. This is a research facility so everything is done at no cost to us. Which would be a fabulous blessing! Any prayers sent up in our behalf that Layla can get in would be vey much appreciated!!!
