We have enjoyed visiting the shake it up city of Shanghai!! Walking the Bund down by the river at night is outrageously eye swirling!! The lights are crazy to watch! We tried a Quails Egg last night at dinner - it was rich & deeelicious!! Went to a countryside village today.... only 8 million population!! LOL hahaha!!! It was a day full of Chinese Zen Gardens - ridiculously beautiful. Never have I ever seen so many Bonsai Trees, or ponds full of fat, orange Koi Fish!! At the edge of the pond you clap your hands and the fish all start swimming towards you!! Really cool! Other nifty trees that we saw were the Ginkgo Biloba & Magnolia....neato! Funniest highlight of the day, while walking the many tiny longevity bridges and beautiful stone ways of the garden we stopped at one of the ponds to relax. At which point I looked over to the opposite edge, near a small water fountain there was the CUTEST, chubby cheeked, 3 year old Chinese boy standing on a stone peeing in the pond! You had to be there, he was imitating the fountain! PRICELESS! As Chinese do, no one over-reacted and everyone stayed ZEN in the zen garden!! Tomorrow we fly to Guilin and will see the Yangshuo Li River!! This is supposed to be Chinas beauty spot!! : )
