We have had 5 great adoptions this weekend. The first one is Patch Adams. Some of you may recall the rescue of Patch Adams by The Sato Project from Dead Dog Beach where he was dumped and abandoned in horrific condition. Bianca and her amazing team in Puerto Rico nursed him back to health and two weeks ago Patch took his freedom ride to New York. Patchs first time foster mom Kaori and her wonderful children took great care of him and gave him lots of love, walks and trips to the dog park. There was alot of interest in Patch but we know his new mom and dad were special. When we spoke with his dad Steven he was great. He works at home 2 days a week and because Patch is such a social dog he will go to doggy daycare the other three days while his mom and dad are at work. When Steven and Natalia met Patch Adams for the first time at Kaoris it was magical. Patch Adams immediately connected with them and they did with him. Kaori said that as they were walking back from the dog park, at each corner, Steven and Natalia would be stop to pet Patch. They picked Patch Adams up on Friday and have sent lots of pictures and an update. They are also keeping his name. Patch will be a very spoiled and loved family member. We couldnt be happier for Patch Adams, Steven and Natalia. Here is and update from Natalia : We are beyond in love with Patch! He is the best and fits our family perfectly! We took him to the dog park today yesterday and he is such a sweet and happy dog. We are so thankful for all you do to bring such dogs into forever homes!
