We have had a few posts recently, asking what you would do if you had to deny Jesus or die. I have seen hundreds of answers of people declaring that they are ready and willing to die for Christ. I want to take a moment to remind everyone that we have brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing this reality now. It is easy for us to look at a situation that we have never been in, and declare boldly how we would triumph, were we faced with it. Peter denied Jesus three times out of fear. We know the blessed hope we have, realizing that we are not yet home and we long to be there with Jesus. Even so, make no mistake, facing your own death in the way so many martyrs have is not something to be taken lightly. Casting your vote in polls about What would you do if... seems to make light of it somehow. It is easy for us to boast when it isnt our children in front of the sword. Please refrain from making any posts of this nature. We will do far more good to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in the midst of this horror along with their families.
