We have had many prayers and words of strength come our way these past weeks. Our family is truly blessed. Here is the latest news on Scotts journey. Last Thursday Scott had surgery to remove his thumb from his chest. During surgery the doctor discovered there was infection in the bone in his thumb so they needed to remove another section of his thumb. This news was very hard for Scott to hear. Though all of this Scott has been very brave! But at least Scott no longer has his hand attached to his chest! We go back to the doctor on Thursday so the doctor can check on the healing. Scotts arm and hand will require physical therapy to get things moving again and to learn how to work with his hand. It has been a long summer, but we couldnt have made it through without the help, love, and support of our dear friends and loving family. May God bless you all. Hugs, Brenda
