We have had some people with concerns about the towel and membership card policies, this email was sent a few weeks ago to all the members explaining why we have the policies, we hope this clears up more questions and concerns.... "As many of you have seen on signs in the club, we are soon requiring that you have a towel and your membership card when entering the club. We wanted to explain our reasoning behind this to hopefully help you understand where we are coming from a little bit. To help better track who is entering the club we have created the membership cards with names and photos. By knowing who is coming into the club we can better protect you our members from things like theft, over crowding with non-members, and more accurate billing. We know that some of you may not be used to bringing these cards in but we ask that you make this tiny change to help benefit all of our members. As for the towels... Summit has been voted the #1 fitness facility in southern Utah and was praised for its cleanliness. We would like to keep it that way. Our entire staff is committed to helping preserve a healthy and clean environment for all of our members. Working together we hope that we can continue to have a safe and clean facility. We have and will continue to supply paper towels and cleaning solution throughout the club to wipe off machines and equipment. We are now asking that each member has a towel to help prevent sweat from getting to the machines, mats, equipment and floors in the first place, by wiping your faces, arms etc. There are 3 options for this policy. You may bring your own towel at no cost. Or you may rent a towel for $2, the rental includes a free water bottle. The third option is a $10 monthly fee where you would receive a towel on each visit. With cleanliness as our goal we are trying to make this policy work for everyone. If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know @ admin@summitathleticclub These policies go into effect August 1st. We hope that the front desk has been helping to remind you of these changes as well as the posted signs over the past 2 months. Thank you for your understanding" SUMMIT MANAGEMENT
