We have had three amazing days at our Moose Business Academy. As we started our camp on Monday we brainstormed a list of things that we could make and sell. The items included gold, airplanes, cars, art, shampoo, muffins, shoes and recycled goods. In the end we came to the conclusion that Lemonade would work the best with our time frame. We talked about the importance of having money to start a business and the importance of having investor to help back us. We decide that parents would be good investors in our company. We also learning that investors need to be paid back and most charge interest. All of your children agreed to pay the investors back even if we lose money in our venture. One student at this point informed us that puppy dog eye are a really good way to get money from investors. As we talked about price structure we broke down the cost of the manufacturing and marketing our product and how to keystone product pricing. Tuesady we worked on product development. We selected the bottles in which we will sell the lemonade and discussed how to decorate the bottle to make our product unique. We taste tested different kinds of lemonade and offered samples to other teachers at the school as a focus group. We also chose a name for our business The Wild Lemon. We created posters to hang in the hallways of the school. While we created these posters we talked about design elements that will help the posters sell our item. And Wednesday we developed a few commercials, using story boarding. We are so excited to share our commercials with you!
