We have just set up capability to receive donations via JustGiving. Text: SURG12 £10 to donate £10 towards one of our International Bursaries. The International Bursaries enables surgical trainees from poorly resourced countries to take part in our training development programme in the UK. To undertake this project for each trainee costs £2,000 in total. The programme has been recognised by the UK government, and aims to improve standards of surgery internationally, by providing trainees from the developing world with skills they can then transfer to their colleagues in their home country.
