We have learned that it is believed that Pure Paws Products are SLS (Sulfate) Free. I just wanted to clarify this fact. Pure Paws is not currently SLS Free. We are currently investigating new formulations that will keep the same quality, dilution rates and cleaning ability, without having to raise the prices too much. Going SLS Free is quite expensive as the SLS alternative ingredients are much more costly. Pure Paws has been working hard to develop new formulations as needed to ensure the safest, highest quality product available for your grooming needs. This year we have taken all of the Parabens out of the products, that had them, so Pure Paws is now Paraben Free. Our current project is to remove the SLS from all of our products. A number of formulations have been created and tested, but the formulations we have approved have been too costly to impliment at this time. But, we are still working on this project and hope to have a SLS free formula in the future. We have done extensive research on SLS and its effects. Here is the article I have written on the subject. We encourage everyone to do their research and select the products they feel are the best for their needs. You can be assured that we at Pure Paws are always researching and developing the safest most effective products possible. The misunderstand might have started as we have talked with many people about our plans for new SLS-Free formulations, but the changes have not yet been made.
