We have never had Ringworm to speak of at Cookies but right now we are in full blown containment mode. Well give you a list of whos where but right now we have the Dirty Room ie Cookies with known ringworm cats. We have the Sunroom Cats- those in the Sunroom are cats with no evidence of it but who have been heavily exposed. Well monitor them daily. We have Brennas Aerie (Little Bs) where we believe those cats are completely clean. . Well move cats out of the Sunroom over the next week into Little Bs if they continue to be negative. . We also have cats up at CTCH that have both URI and RW. . Its a mess! . But never worry- we will have it under control soon. Our VP, Jackie Quaile and her hubs have a commercial cleaning company that is coming in to fungicide, bactericide and germicide all the areas. We are practicing good Isolation technique, we have great volunteers and of course we have Central Texas Cat Hospital and Drs. Smith and Reynolds overseeing us and giving us best practice recommendations. Most of all, we have amazing Kitty Nannies that make it all happen. .
